We were balancing several big projects here in the studio, including a calligraphy video we are shooting, and many “Day Of” items for several recent and upcoming weddings. (Hence my absence from the blog for a couple of weeks.) “Day Of” is industry lingo for the place cards, programs and seating scrolls that are used on the actual wedding day. While we catch up here in the studio, I will be blogging on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I can’t help but share a video I took of some baby birds that I watched incessantly for a few days this spring, outside the window where I was working. A videographer I am not, but hopefully it will still be interesting for you. I think the ending is kind of funny.

Wouldn’t you know that Audrey would be born in May, the most beautiful month of the year, in my opinion. I bought pages and pages of these stamps when they debuted, to put on my Chiocciola Posta. I do wonder why they chose such a sad looking pose of her, when there are so many glorious images of her. Take a look at Amanda Pearl’s blog to see a few.
I have always loved Twiggy. As a super skinny kid in my teens, I cherished her for turning my image from gawky to chic overnight! I saw several musicals she starred in, and she was charming and wonderfully talented. I got to wondering what she was up to these days, and I discovered her smartly designed logo! I wonder what letters I can turn upside down in my work today!
