Jane Labanz is a member of Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG), Actor’s Equity Association (AEA) and the American Guild of Variey Artists (AGVA) and provides on-camera calligraphy for film, television and commercials. Having appeared on stage in over 30 professional, theatrical productions, including Broadway, she is very much at home on stage, film and television sets, and she works well with creative staff and department heads.
Jane creates calligraphy props for film, TV and theatrical productions, such as the “Weekend in the Country” invitation for the musical, A Little Night Music, by Stephen Sondheim.
Jane also does calligraphy for commercial use. For several years, she has created all the lettering on Santa’s envelopes for the Macy’s “Believe” advertising holiday campaign. Other clients include Talbot’s, The Clinton Foundation, Sotheby’s, Audemars Piguet, and Victoria Magazine.
